I Might Be Short...

...But I can climb!"

This was the very first message of the Arkansas District's 2010 "Momentum" themed Senior Camp and was definitely the best way to start off the week! Sometimes we fall short in several instances in our life.. whether it be spiritually or worldly. We were designed to withstand and overcome any adversity life may bring us. Bro. Gaddy began to talk about Zacchaeus and when trying to reach for Jesus, Zacchaeus being of such small stature made a way to reach out to Him. I'm sure we know the story.. he climbed the sycamore tree and Jesus finally spotted Him. But what really got me was that Bro. Gaddy took it a step further. God knew the situation Zacchaeus would be in, in this story and specifically placed that sycamore tree where he stood. It takes movement for something to happen. God can move and work many miracles in your life ONLY if you have a made up might to serve and live for Him... its up to you to move towards Him and away from the distractions of this life.

We were fearfully and wonderfully made and called to different ministries in the church, as Bro. Paul Price said last week at Junior Camp, "[if don't ever 'stand behind a pulpit' ...its perfectly okay]." We sometimes find ourselves wanting God to do "this or that"... when we forget to just ask Him what He truly wants to do in our lives. We are not all called to preach, lead worship, yet alone sing or play an instrument in the church but God can move in a preacher just as much as one who mows and landscapes the church lawn every week.

Several more days left here at Senior camp! Ready for God to move once again! God Bless!!!
